Susie from Aquinas and More here. We have a few new things going on that you might be interested in passing on to your readers.

Last week, Ian, owner of Aquinas and More, launched a new website – the Catholic Store Finder . With this site, people are able to search by state, zip code, or store name to find local Catholic stores near them. We need people’s help to make sure that the information is up-to-date and correct, so anyone who visits is encouraged to leave a comment if they notice incorrect or missing information. There are a few stores listed in other countries as well, but there especially we need people’s help to improve and expand the information for non-US stores. Currently, each store’s profile includes contact information, a map, and any trade group affiliations, as well as noting if the store guarantees the faithfulness of its products to the Magisterium, and if the store does not carry Chinese-made products.

It is important for people to help out their local Catholic stores so that these valuable resources do not get lost. It’s tough for many local Catholic stores to stay in business, especially in this economy, and hopefully this website will help many of these great stores get more exposure. We get a lot of calls from people looking for Catholic stores near them, so it’s obvious that people are trying to find this information. Now there’s a quick and easy way to find it!

In addition to that, we are letting people know about our Missal Shield program, which will give customers of Aquinas and More the opportunity to receive 15% off their purchase of a new missal when the new translation of the Mass is released. Anyone who has bought a missal from us (either Aquinas and More or Catholic Church Supply in the past, or who buys one from us between now and the release of the new translation, will receive that 15% discount on the updated missal.

Many people use and enjoy missals as part of their daily prayer lives, and they will have to buy new ones when the new translation comes out. If they have already bought a current one from us, though, they won’t have to pay full price on the new one! This offer only applies to post-Vatican II perpetual missals (not missals that change yearly or monthly).
