With the blessing and encouragement of His Excellency, Wilton D. Gregory, Archbishop of Atlanta, the 1st Annual Atlanta Catholic Business Conference for the Atlanta Archdiocese will feature three highly acclaimed Catholic authors, national speakers and lecturers as presenters for the day.

The Conference is intended for all Christians, especially the Catholic business and professional community, who wish to more deeply understand the role of faith in the workplace. The mission is to invest deeply in attendees’ knowledge and understanding of how to integrate their lives and let their Christian faith guide their actions in the secular business world.

You will not want to miss these national and international Catholic presenters:

  • Dr. Michael Naughton, Moss Endowed Chair in Catholic Social Thought; Director, John A. Ryan Institute for Catholic Social Thought; Full Professor, University of St. Thomas, Catholic Studies (College of Arts and Sciences) , Ethics and Law (Opus College of Business), national speaker and Catholic author.
  • Dr. Paul J. Voss, Associate Professor of English, Georgia State University; Provost of Holy Spirit Prep; President of Ethikos (an organization committed to the study and implementation of a code of ethics in corporate America. Dr. Voss lectures nationally and internationally throughout the year on a wide variety of topics, including ethics, leadership, Shakespeare, the Renaissance, marriage, and family.
  • Dr. Philip Thompson, Executive Director, Aquinas Center of Theology at Emory University, national speaker and Catholic author.

Speakers, breakout sessions & other content will help answer these and other questions:

  • What does it mean to lead an integrated life of faith and work?
  • What is the role of virtue in the workplace?
  • What role does ethics and morality play in my work life?
  • How can I view my work as supporting my vocation?
  • Is there anything truly distinctive about being a Catholic business person or professional?
