Chesterton conference August 6-8: Banquet event about to close

Chesterton conference August 6-8: Banquet event about to close July 21, 2009

Dear Friends of the Seattle G. K. Chesterton Society,

The time left for pre-registration for the annual conference of the American Chesterton Society has grown very short.

If you have not yet done so, I urge you to do so. I have been informed that tickets for the Banquet on Saturday remain available only through this Wednesday, July 22. Please do not miss this opportunity!

The principals of the Seattle Chesterton Society are honored to be helping to host the ACS conference in our fair city of Seattle this year. This is an opportunity for those in our area who would normally find it difficult to attend the national conference to enjoy stimulating talks and wonderful fellowship of fellow Chesterton admirers.

To preregister, please visit the ACS conference website, where you can register online for the conference and the banquet. Please note that students (of any age) pay only $5 per day. For others, as I have noted before, preregistration saves money over walk-up registration each day you attend the conference.

Thank you so much!

Best regards,

Kirk Kanzelberger, president
Seattle G. K. Chesterton Society

This is going to be a great and historic American Chesterton Society Conference and I am soooooo looking forward to it. In addition to its being the first ACS conference not held in Minneapolis/St. Paul, it will also feature a sneak preview of Manalive, and have a boatload of fun speakers. If you’ve never been to a Chesterton Conference you are in for a total treat! Not just huge fun but a feast for the heart, mind, and stomach (we are Chestertonians, after all). And all presided over by the delightful Dale Ahlquist. Drop everything and register if you are within 200 miles of Seattle. You will enjoy it.
