R.C. Sproul of Ligonier Ministries gave an interesting series of lectures about Mary. I thought they would interest you. They can be listened to at www.ligonier.org or on iTunes. He says that Mary has been woefully ignored by Protestants and they could learn something from the Catholic Church. Wow! A Calvinist admitting that Catholics might be right!

Sproul’s a decent fellow. He once wrote a piece singing the praises of St. Thomas. Things like his podcast on Mary are among the happy signs I’m seeing that Mary is undergoing a long overdue reassessment among many Protestants. It’s part of the reason I wrote Mary, Mother of the Son. I wanted to provide a resource that could provide a doorway into the fruits of the Church’s long thought and prayer on Mary for folks who were just getting their toes wet.
