Catholic and Enjoying It!
Fundie author warns against reading Church Fathers because they all sound so Catholic. Since it’s not possible for the Fundie author to be, you know, wrong it can only be that Fathers of the Church who heard the apostles with their own ears and/or shared their language, culture, table and trials–trials that included being burnt to death, stoned, and ripped to bits by lions–were actually secret heretics. And what is more, they were basically all heretics in the same way across a wide swath of languages, nations, tongues and tribes. What an odd coincidence. But it must be so since something called “Way of Life.org” could not possibly be wrong and they all right.
