The 20th Century Was Dominated by Physics

and the spirit of “Hey! What could it hurt?” (resulting in the Bomb).

The 21st Century will be dominated by biology and the spirit of “Hey! What could it hurt?” (resulting in the reduction of human life to an object of commerce).

Unless, of course, we say no.

One obvious ally in keeping human life human is Catholic teaching. One of the reasons Catholic teaching is so wise here is because of it’s devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Don’t see the connection?
