I would like to ask you to take a look at the College of DuPage Press website Explore Church History. The site is new and compliments and extends Vatican board game by relating its content to a huge data base covering all aspects of church history (about 50% of card content is searchable). The game therefore becomes a portal into the entirety of church history rather than a stand alone product. If you will look on the latter site you will also find another one of my innovations: e-cards. These new cards update the game and are designed to fit right into existing card decks. I will be doing more of these. The content of e-cards is also searchable using the “Explore” search function.

Apart from its relationship with the boardgame, Explore Church History is meant to be a real experiment in interactive education. Site visitors can suggest new entries, new links or make comments. As I develop the site further I will be working on other interactive features that will lead users into the data base and get them to engage with it more deeply.
