Catholic and Enjoying It!
In consultation with my spiritual director, I’ve come to the conviction that I need to help minister to people in prison. I don’t necessarily mean going behind bars to minister face-to-face, I mean helping to lobby for changes in the law to help end prison rape, to help end the use of long-term isolation, etc. Chuck Colson’s Prison Fellowship does a lot a fine work along these lines, and I am in contact with them, but do you know (or more important, does your vast army of lickspittle suck-ups know) of any distinctively Catholic operations I can contact and volunteer for?
