It was Major Hasan, though, who increasingly felt let down by the military, and deeply conflicted by his religion, said those who knew him through the mosque. Unless the Muslims you are slaughtering happen to be in the mosque you are blowing up (twice) while an exclusively Muslim crowd is engage in exclusive Muslim worship of Allah, or are in the World Trade Center you are destroying.

Hasan is the real victim here. He was “conflicted”. It was a hard choice the mean military drove him to as they turned a blind eye to his overtures to al-Quaida, but in the end he had to make the tough but right call and slaughter a room full of defenceless human being. If only the military had not been so mean to him by making him a major and sending him off to conferences to advise us all on who mean we were to noble martyrs like suicide bombers and people who gun down innocent men and women.
