They’re doing a remake of The Prisoner

Looks interesting, though it says something about our age that it appears to re-envision Number Six as a sort of terrorist working against the happy materialist paradise offered us by Number Two. Could work out to be fine agitprop for the state/corporate machine that is always so discomfited by the God of Abraham and his annoying transcendant claims on the human soul.

It should be fun to see Jim Caviezel and Ian McKellen square off. Caviezel’s from Mount Vernon just north of me and I ocassionally bump into his dad at sundry Catholic events. Fine man!
