A prisoner of Haloscan writes

I have come back to your blog after a few days away and I am totally confused by the new Haloscan: How can I contribute a comment if I don’t have any of those accounts they mention? I guess I am not the only one wondering, given the big drop in comments of the last few days.

I suspect that you may also be unclear on the issue, but I am sure your readers will appreciate some guidance on that.

Sadly, neither you nor I have any choice in the matter. Haloscan made me upgrade to the New and Improved system and we’re stuck with it. I’m still trying to figure out how to have the comment be in descending order. I don’t think it’s possible.

Hope you’ll sign up and plunge in. Others are doing it and it seems to be working for them. My apologies for the inconvenience, but when the Technological Piper whistles, sometimes you gotta dance!
