Please pray for: My brother Kieran was diagnosed Wednesday with acute myeloid leukemia. Very rare. Essentially he had 12,000 platlets left and a normal range is 150K-300K. He had been feeling run down but ignored it due to just becoming a dad, work, play etc. He found out at 3 PM, he and his wife had an hour to decide what to do and there is no time for a 2nd opinion. He is already receiving chemo, will be for 7 days. It will eradicate all his immunity. Then he will be in isolation for a month or so. THEN we will know the next steps, possibly a bone marrow transplant. The Leukemia-Lymphoma Society has good info on it. Just so hard to fathom.
Father, hear our prayer for Keiran and all those who love him through your son Jesus Christ. Grant him full recovery and long life in service and love of you. Mother Mary, St. Luke, and St. Peregrine, pray for him and his caregivers. Amen.
