Wondering if you might offer up a Prayer Request to the troops on mine and my family’s behalf: I just got laid off from my day job. I had just gotten it three month’s prior after a long and protracted financial struggle. I just interviewed for a really good job; the opportunity came my way miraculously, and it seems like it would be a good fit. Please pray that, if it be The Father’s Will, that I might be able to get the proverbial “Come Aboard” phone call, and get it soon!! We really need help. We’re in trouble.
Thank you, Mark, and thank you to ALL the readers who might join in prayer on our behalf. I pray for all of you in the Name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with The Father and the Holy Spirit, One God, Forever and Ever. Amen.
Father, grant that this man would get that phone call for Christmas and that his family finances would become stable for Christmas! We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ your Son. Mother Mary and St. Joseph, patron of workers, pray for him.

I have had a hard time even composing this email today. My heart is so sad.
A friend of our family died last night in a car accident. He was travelling home from learning more about how to minister to victims of human trafficking and his vehicle struck a patch of black ice. He leaves behind his wife and 10 children, 3 biological and 7 adopted. He was a leader in adoption, we can trace the adoption of our daughter directly to his example and life message. Please pray especially for the 4 children that were adopted just this year, they were just starting to get to know their Daddy.
Father, your ways are so hard to understand sometimes. Receive the soul of your servant, Conqueror of Death, and grant consolation and hope to his family and all who love him in this bitter hour. Remember his good works and forgive him his sins and grant that we may all meet merrily in heaven on That Day. Mother Mary, receive the soul of your child, who was adopted in Christ Jesus in the sure and certain hope of the resurrection. Amen.
