Can you please ask for prayers for the repose of the souls of Tabetha, 25, Hunter, 6, Nicholas, 4, Michael, 2, and Aron Jr., almost 3 months? They are cousins of a dear friend and my former college roommate; all five recently perished in a horrible fire down in Florida? I know my friend is devestated at this loss, as are the respective families of this young mother and her young sons.
What heartbreak.
Thank you!
Father, hear our prayer for the eternal happiness of these people through Christ Crucified and Risen. Grant also that their grieving family and friends could find hope and consolation even in such darkness. Mother Mary, receive the souls of these children on this Feast of Holy Innocents.

My cousin’s 39-year-old husband had a stroke just before Christmas.
It happened two days after he returned home from a deployment in Turkey. This man is an Air Force Reservist who has two sons, 11 and 13. My cousin and her family have always lived on the edge financially, and I worry what will happen to them all if her husband were incapacitated or unable to work. Plus, their kids just plain old need their dad, especially since he’s been deployed three times in the past five years. My cousin also lost her brother when he was only 28, so this is a family that has already been through difficult times. Please pray for Doug, for his recovery and for his entire family.
Father, hear our prayer for this family that has sacrificed so much. Grant swift and complete healing to Doug and strength and comfort for his family and all who love him. We ask this through your Son Jesus Christ. Mother Mary, pray for all involved in this trial that it may issue in resurrection to eternal life through Jesus Christ. St. Luke pray for his doctors.
