A reader asks

Please ask your readers to pray for a friend of mine, a recently ordained priest (May 2009) who, after losing his mother in January, just lost his father and older brother a few days ago in a household accident.

Father, please hear the prayer of your children, both for these folks and for their son, that he may be granted great peace and consolation through your Son Jesus Christ. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
