The guy comes at the New Age, not as a theologian or philosopher, but from the perspective of a business guru with Lefty sympathies. What he sees is that “New Age ‘Asiatic’ thought … is establishing itself as the hegemonic ideology of global capitalism.” I think he’s got a point though, as usual, he’s better at spotting what’s wrong than at showing what’s right. Interesting stuff.
