Especially entertaining is the fact that the new guy is an Opus Dei priest. That should be fun!
I sense some change is in the wind.
However, I am not one of those people who thinks that a new Archbishop means instant and miraculous renovation of entrenched bureacracy. So when the 2011 or 2012 or 2013 LA Religious Education Conference continues on with their tradition of bizarre crapola, I am not going to lament that the new bishop is a crushing disappointment who let us all down by not miraculous transforming the Archdiocese with a wave of his hand.
