A) Placard-carrying wahoos who have no idea what they are doing?

B) Bold and simple patriots who may not have a lot of book-learning but who have more rough-hewn wisdom and common sense in their little fingers than the eggheads, experts and Masters of the Universe who rule them in Washington, DC?

Since we live in the Land Where There are Only Two Sides to Every Question, those are your only choices. You are not permitted to see a boiling crowd of discontented people with no clear agenda or plan, goaded to fury both by real grievances against an incompetent power-hungry state and by prejudices, crazy conspiracy theories and corporate propaganda and ripe to be manipulated to various possible ends by whatever demagogue can figure out a way to channel all that inchoate anger toward some focused (and yet to be determined) purpose.
