I’ll leave it to readers to come up with some sort of absurd ending to that sentence. I’m thinking it will go something like “because the Pope deliberately organized phalanxes of priests to go out and rape kids!!!!” Something like that. Everybody knows that Taliban members who deliberately hang children in ardent conformity with their religious beliefs are indistinguishable from priests who rape kids in defiance of their Church’s deepest beliefs and bishops who spinelessly fail to uphold their Church’s deepest beliefs.
