Yeah! But those kids assaulted him with… um, a camera and they had the temerity to…. er, ask a public servant a question about policy. How else can you expect him to react?
Oh, I don’t know. How about like an elected public servant? Or just an adult? Sure the kids were annoying. That’s how kids are sometimes. If you keep walking and let them hector you with their high school journalism ambush tactics, then you look good and they look like high school journalists trying to ambush somebody. But when you do this, you do rather look like a typical Inside the Beltway Democrat who thinks somebody died and made you God, unaccountable to the people who elected you.
Woody Allen may go for that, but the rest catch the distinct whiff of arrogance.
