Prayer Requests

A reader writes:

I am a mother of two girls under two, and I broke my ankle yesterday. Please ask God to help give me the strength and resourcefulness to get through the next few weeks being unable to walk or drive. Thank you very much!

Another reader asks for prayers for young Fr. Alex, who is extremely ill with leukemia and attendant infections and may be dying.

Father, hear our prayer for Fr. Alex, that he be healed or, failing that, that he have the grace of a happy death. We also pray for the reader with the broken ankle, that she would heal quickly and that this would be a chance for family and friends to step in and help bear the load. We ask that you would hear her prayer from strength and resourcefulness to get through the next few weeks. Mother Mary, please pray for all involved in these situations. We ask all this through Christ our Lord. Amen!
