Ex Post Facto Prayer

A reader writes:

Please pray today for successful surgery for my father, who’s had severe back pain stemming from bone fragements in two of his discs along his spinal column. A simpler, less painful procedure yesterday did not work, and today the doctors are drilling into the discs themselves to try to clear them out. The surgery is this morning.

Father, please let the surgery have gone well and grant him full recovery through our Lord Jesus! Mother Mary and St. Luke, pray for him!
