…responds to a letter to the editor from a Protestant dude who is pretty sure he has some devastating proof texts that no Catholic has ever considered before in 2000 years. These, naturally, shake the Church to its very foundations, as is the custom with such things.

It’s amazing how many Protestants labor under the conviction that they are the first people to have ever read the Bible.
