Prayer Requests

A reader writes:

I have (yikes) 3 prayer requests that I hope you can post to your blog when you get a chance.

First, my extremely independent grandmother just discovered that she may soon lose vision in her remaining good eye, so I would like to ask for prayers for her to either be healed, or to be given the strength and courage to adjust to such a radical change.

Secondly, a close friend of mine was admitted to the hospital yesterday; they ran tests and can’t seem to find anything wrong, but she is feeling better, so they are hoping to send her home tomorrow. Please pray that she is okay and that she makes a full recovery.

Lastly, I was recently laid off, so I am currently unemployed and struggling, as so many are, to find work while continuing to pay the bills. Any prayers that I can find suitable employment would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

You have generously posted prayer requests for me before, and I firmly believe that the positive outcomes in those cases were largely due to the prayers of you and your readers, so I humbly for them ask once again. Thank you and God bless.

Father, hear our prayer for these people and their various needs for healing, grace, employment, strength and consolation through Jesus our Lord. Mother Mary, pray for them!
