My pal Kevin O’Brien and his sweater star as Professor Stanford Nutting, a classic passive-aggressive who reminds me eerily of the DRE at a parish I used to attend. There is nobody on earth more tyrannically clerical than a teacher, infected with the Spirit of Vatican II, who has carved out a little fiefdom in a classroom or parish and who is committed to “liberating” us from the Oppressive Church.
