A reader writes

I’d like to ask you and your readers for some prayers. After working long hours over the summer to get back in school and finish off my last year of an engineering degree, a couple snafus prevented me from being able to register. I’m looking for work, and two opportunities have presented themselves; I’m currently writing cover letters for both. Prayers that I land one of these jobs quickly and eventually graduate would be greatly appreciated. Also, my godmother’s father died today, and prayers for the forgiveness of his sins and repose of his soul would be wonderful.

Father, hear our prayer for this man that he would find work. Grant as well, eternal rest to his godmother’s father. Mother Mary, pray for them. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen!
