All well and good, I suppose. Christians have used gimmicks to make a pitch for the faith since forever. Some of the saints liked to do magic tricks. The whole baroque revival was, in part, a way to wow the crowds. Nothing intrinsically wicked about that.

But, of course, in the other hand, it’s very easy for the work of our hands to become an idol and I don’t get the strong impression that the folks involved in this project have a clear idea of how to keep the baby ducks from imprinting on the messenger and his bag o’tricks rather than the Message. So color me meh.
