Praise Report!

A reader writes:

Thanks be to God! After five months of unemployment, I’ve been hired full-time at a job that’s close by, at a salary that is perfect. I wanted to write and thank you and your readers so much for your prayers.

Funny story about how I found out – I was at church at the time, helping out with a confirmation ceremony. It hadn’t started yet, so when I saw the caller ID on my cell phone, I answered right away and started to head outside to take the call. The recruiter delivered the great news, and at that exact moment, the organ and trumpets started up as the confirmandi started marching in. I ran out the door and apologized, but the recruiter started laughing and said, “That’s a first for me… I tell someone they’ve been hired, and a brass band starts up in the background!” It felt like a little reminder from God that I have Him to thank, as well as the many who prayed for me.  Thanks again for posting my prayer request, and God bless you and your readers!
