Meet the New Boss. Same as the Old Boss. And as a reader points out:
In addition to keeping the tax cuts and retaining troops in Iraq, add that Gitmo is still open, Bagram has expanded, rendition is still used, gov’t assassination policies have expanded, signing statements are still being used, and the Patriot Act is still alive and well. We are funding abortions overseas now, though, so I guess that’s different.
And don’t forget crushing conscience, smashing those who protest prisoner abuse, and lying through their teeth about not doing the shady on health care records.
So, actually, worse than the old Boss. Which is quite an achievement.
