My brother is so cool

My brother Mike is the guy in the family who wound up with all the musical talent. Here’s a nicely done photo album of him playing a recent gig with bluesman John “Scooch” Cugno. Mike’s the dude wailing on the sax. As is the custom in such circles, he has picked up a cool nickname: “Doctor Silk”. And he really is very good. Every July 4 for years now he has had a party at his house where he invites the Johnny Lewis Band (a genuine Big Band) to set up on the lawn and play two sets. You get yourself an approved flotation device, a few spare ribs, and proceed to drift around on the lake and savor the goodness of life. Awesome!
