A reader writes…

My mother is going through kidney failure and is in dire need of a transplant, and we are throwing a big Benefit/Fundraiser for her next month down here in Northwestern Oregon. I would like to ask you and your readers to pray for strength, trust and faith for her and my dad as they go through this trying time, as well as for healing if it be God’s will, and success for the Benefit/Fundraiser. I have also recently applied to the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology, in their MA program in Church History. I’ve had a very frustrating time with grad school thus far, and would love a positive outcome here. I know you rave about the place, so that’s a vote in their favor. I’m not asking you to post this, necessarily; I just thought you’d be interested to know, as you’ve got such a high opinion of the place!
