Initially, the story was that this door-smashing raid was about unpaid student loans. That looked particularly Soviet, so now the story has changed to a vague “ongoing criminal investigation”. Big Brother is wise and just and if he decides to smash your door in and change the rationale for doing so to look better in the press, then your job is to believe him.
