A reader writes

I wrote some time ago with a prayer request that I could find work.

So far, no go.
This is very vexing; I’ve been out of work nearly two months, and nothing seems to be sticking. I don’t really know what to do; I spent so long assuming I was going to be a priest that that’s what I built my skillset around, and now that that’s not happening, I can’t seem to get my foot in the door.

So in addition to prayers, if anybody in the New York City area is in need of a former seminarian trying to get his life back in order, I would really greatly appreciate some leads….

Father, hear our prayer and grant your servant a job and a place for him to exercise his vocation swiftly through Christ our Lord. St. Joseph the Worker and Mother Mary, pray for him!
