Gaddafi dead

Tyranny disappears from mideast and bounteous flowers of western secular democracy soon to bloom as yet another formerly useful corrupt despot is dispatched in favor of new corrupt regime. Supine anti-war lefties hail wise and just God King for slaying his enemies in his unilateral war for Empire.  Ride in triumphal car down Washington Mall planned to huzzahs of former “anti-war” supporters. 

Meanwhile, GOP candidates praise death of Gaddafi while managing never to mention Obama’s involvement, much as the GOP tried to praise itself for the brilliant strategy of fruitless torture that, well, didn’t actually do anything to find bin Laden, but they had to figure out some way to horn in on all the glory Obama was aiming at himself for nailing a bad guy. Because all this stuff is, inside the Beltway, primarily regarded as grist for re-election by a ruling class that calculates all things according to the metric of self-interest.

So: Another big kill by Nobel Peace Prize Winner for Not Being George W. Bush.  War party that talked big but couldn’t shoot straight jealous. Obama on fast track to deliver the same deal to Libyan Christians that Egyptian Copts, Palestinian Christians, Chaldean Christians, Afghan Christians now enjoy.
