Prayer Requests

A reader writes:

If you could post this prayer request I would be most grateful. My mother is seeing signs that she may soon lose her job. Please pray for the intercession of St. Joseph and St. Matthew that she is able to find another job before this one is gone.

Father, hear our prayer that this woman not lose her job or, if she does, that you will find her a better one swiftly. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Mother Mary, St. Matthew and St. Joseph the Worker, pray for her.

Another reader writes:

A coworker of mine’s father passed away today. From what I can tell (I’ve only been here a few months) this was expected but I’m sure it still hurts. God will know who I am talking about. Some prayers would be great.

May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Father, grant peace, healing, grace and consolation to all who love him through Christ our Lord.

Another reader writes:

Please pray for my mother-in-law, who had a massive stroke last week and will be taken off of life support tomorrow. She will likely go to her eternal reward tomorrow and she could use your prayers. Also, please pray for me and my wife and her family, that this bring us all closer to Christ. Thank you and God love you.

Father, hear our prayer for this woman that she would receive the grace of a happy death through Christ our Lord. Grant also your grace, healing, strength and peace to my reader, his family, and all who love her through the same Christ our Lord. Mother Mary, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen
