plays with the idea of a Department of Pre-Crime. I feel so much safer knowing that a computer might guess that I’m about to do something bad and Caesar could bust me based on an algorithmic hunch. Why wait until I’m actually guilty of something to arrest me? If we do that, think of how much people could get away with! Better a thousand innocents be punished than that the guilty should escape! 9/11 changed everything!
