Prayer Request

A reader writes:

Please pray for a friend’s little girl, Tia, who swallowed a battery and is in critical condition. They are asking special intercession from St. Catherine of Sienna.

Father, hear our prayer for Tia that she be completely healed to the glory of your Name through your Son Jesus Christ. Give skill, wisdom, and compassion to her caregivers and grace, peace and strength to all who love her through the same Christ our Lord. Mother Mary, St. Luke and St. Catherine, pray for her.

Another reader writes:

I wanted to give you an update on the little baby boy you and your readers kindly prayed for the past couple of months. He fought a valiant battle, but died this afternoon at 3:30 — at least he was cradled in his parents’ arms. Please pray for Wyatt’s soul, which I’m sure is with God, but also for his parents Kathy and Chris — this has to be unbelievably hard for them and their two daughters.

May Wyatt’s soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. And may his parent and all who love him find grace, peace, and consolation. Mother Mary, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. We ask all this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
