Since this is the Feast Day of JFK, C.S. Lewis and Aldous Huxley… November 22, 2011

I give you a bit of silliness I wrote, lo, these many years ago for The Wittenburg Door (the world’s pretty much only Christian satire magazine). It’s called “Paranoia is the Serious Business of Heaven“.

PS. I’m not much for JFK Conspiracy theories, mostly because I’ve been to Dealey Plaza and seen for myself what a small space it is. No room for second gunman on the grassy knoll without everybody hearing it. And, frankly, any decent marksman could have done with Oswald did. So my big sophisticated theory is that a disaffected bitter twerp with some Marine Corps marksmanship training got up in a tall building and shot the President. End of story. We find it hard to believe that one man could inflict a global tragedy. But that’s because we just don’t realize how much technology is a force multiplier for human pathology as well as human virtue.
