We have a story just up that all Catholics should read about. You know about the Obama admin’s mandate for coverage of contraception and sterilization in insurance plans (and the ridiculously narrow religious exemption).
Well, apparently Notre Dame and the Catholic Health Association have suggested a sort of compromise with the Obama administration. If Obama’s admin decides to take them up on their recommendation–and our sources indicate they might–most Catholic organizations would likely still fail to meet the exemption. And to top it off, inter-denominational Christian organizations would be completely left out in the cold!
