I’m a long-time reader, first-time emailer. Now that the cliche greeting is out of the way…I spend a lot of time on the forum-ish website Reddit. If you’re familiar with it, you probably know it’s full of techies, atheists, left-wingers, and other sorts of people. But all the communities on Reddit, AKA “subreddits,” operate independently of one another. So groups like the Christianity subreddit can spring up and prosper without getting swept up by trolls. There’s also a subreddit for Catholicism that’s been steadily growing. We’re at 1,800 members and though we’re small, we’re proud. If any of your readers like 1, discussion, or 2, reading linked stories/blogs, they should stop by, make an account, and explore the site’s functionality, because Reddit revolves around reading and discussion. I’m not a moderator or anything, just a user who’d love to see the the group grow. It makes a great hub for Catholic stories and opinions.
Go to it, troops!
