Pope Benedict on Happiness, Truth, and Tolerance

Dr. Christopher Kaczor

Loyola Marymount University

This evening’s discussion will address the ways in which relativism, a denial of truth, can undermine both happiness and tolerance.  Drawing on research in philosophy, theology, and psychology, Dr. Christopher Kaczor will address the self-defeating nature of denials of truth as well as the ways in which his meeting with the future pope changed his life.

Dr. Christopher Kaczor is a Professor of Philosophy at Loyola Marymount University.  He is a Fulbright Scholar and the author/editor of nine books.
