I have another 3 possible opportunities on the horizon, meaning another 3 interviews. I would like to ask for prayers not only that the interviews go well but that (at least?) one of them turn into an actual, honest-to-goodness job that pays enough to meet my financial obligations. I am also in the midst of an appeal to a major health insurance company after they (erroneously) denied my application for an insurance policy, so I also ask for prayers either that that appeal be successful or that I am able to acquire other long-term health insurance. I have a temporary catastrophic plan, and the prospect of being uninsured is quite scary.
Father, grant your servant work and good health insurance through Christ our Lord. Amen! Mother Mary and St. Joseph pray for him!

Some friends of the family are suffering greatly. The Husband/Father has serious heart disease, there’s nothing more the doctors can do for him. He’s a ticking time bomb. He can’t work and they don’t know when they might come home and find him lying on the floor. The mother can’t find work and lives in constant fear that the next minute she might find her husband or get “the call.” His sons are rebelling (perhaps to cope?) and some have left the faith. Please ask your readers to pray for them. They need it greatly.
Father, we ask that your Spirit would come upon this man and his family and grant them the healing and grace they need. Grant him healing or, if it is your will, the grace of a happy death. Grant his wife and children peace, grace, faith and love and the support of loving people in this terrible hour of trial. Grant the family financial support, shelter and food. Mother Mary and St. Joseph the Worker. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
