but I must say that Joseph Kony is the sort of beast that makes a persuasive argument for it. Certainly I would have no hesitation squeezing the trigger if I got him in my crosshairs.

That said, no it is not our business to send our troops into harm’s way to police yet another part of the world, as Obama did in turning Special Forces into his private army with him as Professor X, wiping out evil around the globe. Our troops have wives, children and loved ones too. They are not America’s renewable resource to go get killed so that End to Evil types can feel good about themselves. If End to Evil types want to go abroad seeking monsters to slay, they should not force people who signed up to defend America’s interests to go do it. They should go sign up for Blackwater themselves, or go to the trouble spot and volunteer themselves as mercenaries. But our Ruling Classes prefer being courageous with other people lives.
