Prayer Request

A reader writes:

Please pray for my friend, K. and her daughter, B. B. has Alexander’s Disease and, while I know very little about it, it certainly seems awful and eventually fatal. Today, K. seems to have gotten some discouraging news from an out-of-state specialist who says some of the issues related to the disease are spreading and in a tone that indicates he’s not really holding out hope to treat this disease successfully. K. is determined not to give up and to find a cure for this disease. I ask you, and your readers, to pray for K. & B. and their family as they face down this very trying time.

Father, we ask your complete healing in body, soul, and spirit for B and that you would grant her caregivers wisdom, skill and compassion. We also ask your grace, peace and strength for K and all who love B. Mother Mary and St. Luke, pray for them. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
