A reader writes:
I have a prayer request, coupled with a bit of an advice request, to you and your legions of Myrmidon…
My girlfriend’s aunt died unexpectedly last night. Understandably, she is shattered, as her aunt is one of her very few relatives left, apart from her grandmother (she was raised by her grandparents). I humbly ask you and your readers for prayers for the repose of her aunt’s soul; and for my girlfriend, that she find the strength and be given the grace to get through the next few days. I would also humbly ask for prayers for myself that I have the strength to be there for her as she goes through this, and to help her as best as I can.
If anyone had any advice about what to say in this regard, too, I’d greatly appreciate it. But the prayers are what’s more important here.
Father, hear our prayer through your Son Jesus Christ. Mother Mary, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
