Prayer Request

A reader writes:

Please ask your readers to pray for a family from our parish—their 6-month-old daughter passed away in her sleep. Also please pray for my daughter, who suffers from severe depression—she is receiving counseling and beginning medication as part of her therapy.

Father, hear our prayer for this family in their loss and grant their child eternal life. Hear also our prayer for my reader’s daughter, that she can find healing and hope for her depression. Grant, as well, the peace, grace, and strength her family needs to help her through this trial. Give skill, wisdom and compassion to her caregivers. Mother Mary and St. Luke, pray for all these needs. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
