Prayer Request

A whimsical reader writes:

Great Dark Lord with untold riches and awesome power,

I would be very grateful if you and your minions would pray for my grandmother and her upcoming cataract surgery. She has been informed that she is going blind and the surgery may or may not be successful, but it is the only chance she has to prevent the blindness.

Also, a friend of mine from college broke both her legs in a serious car accident and is currently in an ICU.

Prayers for both will be greatly appreciated.

Father, hear our prayer for a successful surgery for this woman and for a full recovery for the woman whose legs were broken. Mother Mary and St. Luke, pray for them. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
