Please remember my mother whose cancer returned with a vengeance. Doctors have informed us that her passing imminent. Thank you.

Father, hear our prayer for her complete healing in body, soul, and spirit.  Grant grace, compassion, wisdom, knowledge, skill, and the proper technology to treat her.  Give grace, peace, strength, faith, hope and love to all who love her.  Mother Mary, pray for them.  We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Some time ago, I asked for prayers for my co-worker’s grandson Luke. It appears that his condition, though improved, will be a lifelong struggle – for him and his family. Prayers are all the family is requesting and are certainly appreciated. However, friends have set up an opportunity for those who can and would like to do more by helping this family be relieved of some of the financial burden. Here is a link to the Website where you can have an opportunity to perform a real work of mercy.

Father, hear our prayer for Luke’s healing body, soul, and spirit through Christ our Lord. Provide for the financial needs of the family and give his caregivers all that is needed to care for him. Give all who love him grace, peace, strength, faith, hope and love. Mother Mary, pray for them all. We ask this through Christ or Lord.

I was wondering if you could keep my vocation in your prayers. Last month I went on an Ignatian silent retreat that was conducted by some good, solid priests. The particular priest assigned to be my spiritual director is a priest of some prominence, and rock solid.

He told me during the course of our daily meetings that he felt strongly that I might have a vocation to the priesthood. I found this rather confusing, I’m 40, never been married. I believe my life is full of bad moral habits (a lot having to do with chastity, lack of productivity at my job, gluttony)… I know this dispair has a lot to do with the Evil One picking on me. but I’m trying to keep my mind and heart open to whatever God wants me to do.

I’m going to the Holy Land with my parents next month, and I’m praying that I may be open to the fullest in receiving whatever special graces God may have for me on that pilgrimage.

please pray that I take the right steps to do what I need to do and not live my life as a victim without choices. I’ve been very discouraged by the massive amount of dissent in the leadership of the local Catholic churches where I live … But I know that it’s up to me to be and adult, not make excuses, and take the steps to make some radical changes in my life, if need be.

Father, guide your son as he discerns your will and help him to takes steps to actively pursue you in prayer and in attempting to do it. Send him the member of your Son’s body he needs to help him find the way. Meet him where he is and show him the way you will he walk. Mother Mary and St. Jean Vianney, pray for him. We ask this through Christ our Lord..
