Focus on the Family writes:
On April 10th, thousands of students across the U.S. will participate in Day of Dialogue, a student-led, free-speech event sponsored by Focus on the Family. This event equips Christian high school and college students to exercise their religious freedoms by courageously and compassionately speaking truth into the world around them. The Day of Dialogue differs from the Day of Silence, an event sponsored by GLSEN (one of the nation’s largest gay advocacy groups), in that it encourages open dialogue and honest conversations about hot-button issues like bullying and sexuality.
Candi Cushman, education analyst and Day of Dialogue facilitator here at Focus on the Family, is available to share about the upcoming Day of Dialogue event, as well as resources for Christian students like our free, downloadable student guide and conversation cards (sneak previews attached). Candi works closely with students and may be available for a dual interview with a student if his/her school schedule allows.
