I have two left feet

I have two left feet February 6, 2015

…but have always wished I could dance  as I have always wished  I could play a musical instrument.  I think a trained and gifted dancer is one of the most beautiful sights in the world.  So while I can’t do it myself, I think exploring a “theology of dance” would be worthwhile since “the earth is the Lord’s and the fulness thereof” including the dance parts.  Speaking of which, reader Matt Mordini writes:

I love your blog and have been reading it ever since I discovered Patheos. I wanted to reach out to you to get some help. I run this awesome ministry called Theology of Dance in which we teach and train people in Theology of the Body, spirituality and  relationships using ballroom dance. I have been working on the program for close to four years and we have been running retreats for the last year, and I have started scheduling a national tour for 2015, and hopefully you can help us make that more successful by spreading the word.

You can of course check out our website, and if we can find a time to talk I would appreciate it greatly. Thanks again.

Peace in Christ,

Matt Mordini

And now, just for fun, here is a lovely offering by my brother Seattleite, Matt Harding:
